Update

So the scammer wrote me back and told me how offended he was that I was calling him a scammer. That he has a family and a wife and that this is legit, and he's worked for the bank for 10 years! As if any of this was supposed to change my mind! I let him know that I had checked him out online and the bank that he said he's from is linked with scams from Nigeria and that if he's offended that I think he's running a scam, that he should take it up with Yahoo as well because they apparently think so as well! Of course, now he's been mute! :-)

Oh, I didn't read this one before I asked about Nigeria! Crazy, but some people must actually fall for it, or why would they continue to do this stupid stuff?!

Isn't that funny? The guy kept e-mailing me back. He was very persistent and then tried to tell me that I had it all wrong because he wasn't Nigerian, he was Ivorian(Ivory Coast) as if that were to make a big difference. He then told me he hopes to see after the deal is done. I told him that I could guarantee I would not be seeing him in person, and I haven't heard from him since! :-)

That's what I thought! I kept laughing that he was so persistent. As if the fact that he was from the Ivory Coast was going to help his cause of not being part of a Nigerian scam! :-)

I loved your response that you'd like all 100%!! These things are so crazy! I probably would have fallen for this back in the day...thankfully my mom had to teach me the saying, "There ain't no free lunch". It has helped me out to remember that a number of times!
